Day 30 - Philadelphia Part II - Taking Care of Business
Philadelphia, PA – Today was kind of a wash. We ended up spending most of our time shopping for a new camera and dealing with car stuff. We found out that our car alignment is messed up (most likely from all the pot holes we’ve endured along the way) and that our rear tires needed to be replaced. After getting the diagnosis we thought we would could drop the car off at a tire shop and be on the road again in an hour or so, boy were we wrong. We went from shop to shop to dealership to shop for hours. Literally 6 shops and 30 phone calls later we found someone who had the tires we needed in stock. When we bought our car, we got special rims and tires put on the car so the upgraded tires are impossible to find. Let’s just say it wasn’t the most pleasant day in the Devine vehicle. We wasted an entire day, but finally had a smooth ride again, a working gps and a new camera.
